How does CBD oil in Skincare work?
Perhaps we need to back up and start with, WHAT is CBD oil and how does it work in general. CBD oil is from the marijuana plant. CBD is short for cannabidiol and is just one of over 80 compounds cannabinoids extracted from the cannabis sativa plant. Probably the two most well known compounds are CBD and THC, the part of the plant that gets you high. Interestingly, our bodies make our own cannabis-type chemical called anandamide. Which is also known as the ‘bliss molecule.’ Increasing your anandamide levels can have anti-inflammatory effects.
